This blog shows the folkart I make, my reproduction furniture and other projects. My studio/shop is in my backyard. It's a couple of miles off the main road in West Prince County, Prince Edward Island, Canada. When you come to visit make sure you see – the "Olde Times" Garden House Museum; Grandma's Attic; the Furniture Box; Grampa's Loft (antiques, old doors, etc. in my Dad’s old barn loft); and my World's Largest Egg Beater, certified by Guinness World Records.

Bar made from drawer

I made this bar this week.  I found the steel legs in my attic and used a long drawer.
You can pull out the four separate panels for the liquor bottles to stand and store glasses, ice, etc. with the rest of the space.

Jewelry Sign

The next time you're in downtown Charlottetown and find yourself at the corner of Water and Great George Streets - look at the sign I made for a new store at 108 Water Street.  The wood sign has a crow biting into a diamond - for the diamond I used a glass door knob and for the crow's beak is used a pair of blacksmith pliers.

Side Board Shelf

I made this side board to hang on a wall.  I had these big brackets I bought a few years ago and finally came up with an idea to work it into this piece.  The top shelf is 19"×72".
     This item is for Sale.

Old Day-bed turned into Display Cabinet Case

I had a customer bring this old day-bed to me and asked that I turn it into a display case stand - the glass display case would set on top of it.

Jewelry molds

I made six of these jewelry molds for a customer of mine.  For the bases I use candle holders.
I made two extra sets and have them for sale.
