This blog shows the folkart I make, my reproduction furniture and other projects. My studio/shop is in my backyard. It's a couple of miles off the main road in West Prince County, Prince Edward Island, Canada. When you come to visit make sure you see – the "Olde Times" Garden House Museum; Grandma's Attic; the Furniture Box; Grampa's Loft (antiques, old doors, etc. in my Dad’s old barn loft); and my World's Largest Egg Beater, certified by Guinness World Records.

Noah's Ark - Part 12

On Saturday I finally got the Ark finished with the final job of getting the rope around the railing posts.
I made a glass display case for the Ark - am happy as to how it turned out.
     The Ark is for sale.

Noah's Ark - Part 11

Finally finished my last carvings this morning and started painting the carvings.  The birds turned out good with the ear rings that I used for tails.

Noah's Ark - Part 9

This is week three working on Noah's Ark - I'm hoping to have the Ark done by the end of the week.
I mounted the animals i had painted this morning and started carving out more animals again.
The killer whale i used a piece of antique caribou antler for the back fin.
The beaver and skunks I used the ends of folk handles for the tail. The other end of the folk i used for the antler for the moose.
