Chandelier made from horse powered treadmill flywheel

I had this 5'-0" wide flywheel that came from and old horse powered farming treadmill and made it into a rustic chandelier.
Below is an image of a similar wooden flywheel used in my chandelier above.

There's twenty-one lights hanging from the wheel - I uses mason jars for the globes. I had my nephew up to help with the wiring of the fixture.  I painted the wiring and box to blend in with the wheel.
Wish i didn't have such a busy back ground that's not so busy to  show up the lamp better. But its over the top.

We rebuilt our Kitchen Cupboards this week

My nephew Dwanye and I started doing over our cupboards last week.  We started on Saturday and we had them done yesterday, Wednesday.
After doing the roughing in on the cupboards. My nephew did the drawers along with the self-closing hinges, and I did the doors and drawer fronts.
     We install everything yesterday.
The first two pictures are the before photos.
We're changing the colour of the cupboards to off-white and changing all the doors on the lower cabinet to drawers.
Below: The finished cupboards.  We also built an appliance garage in the corner.
Below:  Dwayne and I, happy with a job done!

Noah's Ark - Part 12

On Saturday I finally got the Ark finished with the final job of getting the rope around the railing posts.
I made a glass display case for the Ark - am happy as to how it turned out.
     The Ark is for sale.

Noah's Ark - Part 11

Finally finished my last carvings this morning and started painting the carvings.  The birds turned out good with the ear rings that I used for tails.

Noah's Ark - Part 9

This is week three working on Noah's Ark - I'm hoping to have the Ark done by the end of the week.
I mounted the animals i had painted this morning and started carving out more animals again.
The killer whale i used a piece of antique caribou antler for the back fin.
The beaver and skunks I used the ends of folk handles for the tail. The other end of the folk i used for the antler for the moose.
