Wine Cabinet from old dresser and mail box

I built this Wine Cabinet from two old pieces that were meant for each other!
The bottom is an old dresser and the top is an old 59-hole mail box were they sorted mail years ago (the bigger holes were for businesses).
Nowadays folks use drawers in their cupboards to store their dishes, glasses, mugs, etc. - these drawers are deep enough for wine glasses, etc.

Fishing Season

Last week I started making these fish and finished them this today.  For the tails I used a variety of different things, ie. wrenches, bone, etc.
I had a propeller upstairs in my collection of "stuff"and worked it in one of the fish.

Pet Beds

I made these pet beds for dogs or cats - our big cat Timothy tried out one of them.
The base comes from the bottom of old kitchen wood stoves.

Kitchen Islands made from old Church Panels

I got these panels that came from an old New Brunswick church - I worked them in two kitchen islands.
I had some old drawers and worked them in.  The size of the counter top is 28" x 70" - they are 37" high.

Coffee Table from old oak wheel

This is the latest piece of furniture I made - a coffee table.
It's 38" wide.  I picked up this old round grate and recessed in to the center of the table. The skirt of the table was parts of a wheel that was steamed and bent - I think its oak
