I got this old case iron metal cutter base. and used it for a base for a
butcher block. i used a old blade for the top and bottom by putting the
old piece of wood threw the planer. the grain of the wood turned out
good. put a coat of bees wax for the finish. love the grain on this piece
of wood.
24''x 32'' top 36''h. i'm asking $385.
"HANDS ON: ALIENS IN THE ATTIC. Wacky, fun, iconoclastic--these are the hallmarks of a folk artist, and P.E.I. Native Kerras Jeffery has them in spades". NATIONAL POST Jan/2011
This blog shows the folkart I make, my reproduction furniture and other projects. My studio/shop is in my backyard. It's a couple of miles off the main road in West Prince County, Prince Edward Island, Canada. When you come to visit make sure you see – the "Olde Times" Garden House Museum; Grandma's Attic; the Furniture Box; Grampa's Loft (antiques, old doors, etc. in my Dad’s old barn loft); and my World's Largest Egg Beater, certified by Guinness World Records.
