This blog shows the folkart I make, my reproduction furniture and other projects. My studio/shop is in my backyard. It's a couple of miles off the main road in West Prince County, Prince Edward Island, Canada. When you come to visit make sure you see – the "Olde Times" Garden House Museum; Grandma's Attic; the Furniture Box; Grampa's Loft (antiques, old doors, etc. in my Dad’s old barn loft); and my World's Largest Egg Beater, certified by Guinness World Records.

Homemade Manual Wood Splitter

I made this wood splitter last week, thought I should share it here on my blog.  It's all made from recycled metals.

Well Balanced Woman

Last week I made this Well Balanced Woman - it's made from cedar wood.

Dutch Mallards

Here's a piece of folk art I did last week - I call them Dutch mallards as they are made from a pair of Dutch wooden shoes.

Teapot Folk Art

I have a teapot corner in my Gallery.  Thought I would add a few more teapot pieces to it. Like the Genie, the camel, and the popular monkey which I have done in the past.
The monkey arms are made from dinner forks and the banana is also made from the forks too.

Old Sled Coffee Table

I made this sled up to make a coffee table. I put a rod threw the front of the runners to hang a blanket.
